Gym, games, lunch and ice fishing

From Columbia Heights Parks and Recreation:

We will start out this fun-filled day with a trip up to the Hylander Center City Gym for fun games. Lunch, pizza and beverage provided. While eating lunch, information will be given from Outdoor Knowledge about the techniques of ice fishing.

Then we will head out to a metro lake for an afternoon of ice fishing. Bring along an ice-fishing pole and tackle if you have. Let us know if you don't have anything when you register, so that we can prepare accordingly.

Be sure to dress for the weather conditions: boots, hat, scarf and warm jacket. Layering is good.

Who: 4th-8th grade and up

When: Friday, Feb. 24

Drop-off and pick-up: Murzyn Hall

Drop-off: 10 a.m.

Bus leaves: 10:15 a.m.

Pick-up: 3:30 p.m.
