Ski Day at Afton Alps

Join Columbia Heights Recreation for Learn to Ski Day.

They will head to Afton Alps for a great day of skiing/snowboarding. Lessons are included to ensure that everyone has a great time.

Students who have skied before may test out of the lesson program prior to the first beginner lesson. Once students have tested out of the lesson program, they are permitted to leave the beginner hill if (A) they are able to turn and stop in control; (B) and if they are accompanied by a chaperone who is responsible for the students after the lesson. Be sure to dress for the weather and bring a bag lunch.

You may also bring money and buy food there. You can also bring your own ski equipment. Helmet rental is $2.

Registration deadline is Feb. 16.

Who: 4th grade & up

When: Thursday, Feb. 23

Drop-off: 9:15 a.m. Bus leaves at 9:30 a.m. from Murzyn Hall.

Pick-Up: 3:30 p.m.

Fee: $16 covers, lift ticket, rental and lesson.
